Veterans Clothing Depot to Host Grand Opening, Feb. 18

Veterans Day 2016: Honoring Veterans on Nov. 11

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Veterans and their family members will benefit from a new initiative geared toward providing them with gently used or new clothing items for those seeking employment. 

The Montclair Neighborhood Development Corp. (MNDC) has partnered with the diocese of Newark and Paterson to announce the Grand Opening of the Veteran's Clothing Depot. The Grand Opening will take place on Thursday, Febr. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MNDC office located at 228 Bloomfield Ave. Montclair.

The Veteran's Clothing Depot is a program of MNDC’s 'The Veterans Project' to provide donated new and gently used clothing to veterans and their dependents who are seeking employment.

While selecting a suit or a dress at the Veteran's Clothing Depot, a veteran can make use of other assisting services such as case management, enrollment in the VA health care system, economic opportunities, navigating the complex filing procedures for VA claims and benefits, and information regarding state and county assistance programs for veterans.
