MONTCLAIR, NJ - The following weather advisory has been issued for tonight:

Sleet and ice expected tonight with a few light sleet showers initially. Towards midnight, steadier sleet will work into the area, and despite the recent warmth, the intensity of the sleet will likely lead to pavement accumulation.

A transition to freezing rain is expected overnight as steady precipitation continues. After daybreak, conditions are expected to warm enough to change freezing rain over to rain. In total, a coating of less than an inch of primarily sleet plus patchy ice is expected."
