PATERSON, NJ - Paterson’s four COVID-19 testing sites are closed Saturday due to the expected inclement weather, Paterson Fire Chief Brian McDermott told TAPinto Paterson.
The sites, which opened earlier this month and have already tested more than 1,700 residents, and are located at Eastside High School, John F. Kennedy High School, Public School 18, and Public School 28, are expected to reopen at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.
“Testing remains one of our core strategies in ridding Paterson of coronavirus,” McDermott said, adding that the risk to the equipment necessary to provide the free service to residents meant that the temporary shutdown was the best decision for the long term.
