Women's Center Seeks Volunteers to Help Assault Victims


PATERSON, NJ - The Passaic County Women’s Center is seeking volunteers for its Sexual Assault Response Team (SART).

 Volunteers will have the opportunity to provide an invaluable service to our community in supporting survivors of sexual assault. Volunteers offer crisis counseling, information and referrals at a survivor’s time of greatest need.

More then 45 hours of training, provided for free, is required to join the team. The next training will begin in January 2013.

If you are passionate about helping survivors of sexual assault, able to provide emotional support in a crisis, and would like to serve your community, then you should apply today to become a part of the SART Team.
