New Post for High School Athletic Director

PATERSON, NJ - City school officials have appointed Gerald Glisson to a new $113,448 job as the district's interim assistant principal for co-curricular activities and athletics.

Glisson previously had been the district's athletic director, a position he held since August 2011. Prior to 2011-12, Paterson had separate athletic directos for the Eastside and Kennedy sports programs.

District spokeswoman Terry Corallo said the athletic director's position was being eliminated and replaced by the new assistant principal job title.
