No Parking Zone Proposed for 11th Avenue

February 18, 2013 at 10:02 AM

PATERSON, NJ – City officials are considering creating a “no parking” zone on the south side of 11th Avenue between E. 16th and E. 18th streets.

The City Council gave preliminary approval to an ordinance making the change at its meeting on February 12. A public hearing and final vote is scheduled for February 26.

The ordinance says the street is 30 feet wide – too narrow to accommodate two-way traffic and parallel parking on both sides.
