City Green Fund-Raiser Postponed Until Dec. 2

 

PATERSON, NJ - City Green, an urban farming, community garden and environmental educational non-profit organization operating in Clifton, Paterson, Jersey City, and other urban areas postponed their annual fundraiser at the historic Van Vleck House and Gardens in Montclair until Sunday, December 2 from 2- 5 pm.

“We postponed our event out of respect for all of the many people and businesses struggling with the aftermath of this hurricane,” explained Jennifer Papa, Executive Director of City Green.

On December 2 there will be a Sunday Jazz Cocktail Party with live jazz music and delicious seasonal foods, many of which will be harvested from the City Green urban farm in Paterson and the new City Green Schultheis’ Farm in Clifton.   Music, autumn cocktails, and refreshments will be served in the beautiful VanVleck mansion and outdoor patio.

 A suggested donation of $50 per person will help City Green continue its efforts to create green spaces in urban areas, as well as providing communities with programs on nutrition and the environment .
