Martin Luther King Weekend Events in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ - The Paterson Pastor's Workshop - Clergy on Fire is sponsoring a series of events this weekend to commemorate the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.

On Friday, there will be a "Prayer and Praise Service" at 8 pm at Harvest Outreach Ministries at  204-208 21st Avenue.

On Saturday, there will be a "Teens For the Dream" event from 9 am too 3 pm at PANTHER Academy at 210 Memorial Drive.

On Sunday, there will be a "Pre Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Service" and the installation of the Pastor's Workshop's executive team at 5 pm at Bethel AME Church at 2-4 Auburn Street.

On Monday, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the Board of Education's decision to amend the name of one of its schools to make it "The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School.'' That event will run from 2-6 pm at 851 E. 28th Street.
