Special Needs Prom to be Sponsored by Tim Tebow Foundation

NEW JERSEY – Young adults ages 14 and older with special needs are invited to a very special prom night experience, courtesy of the Tim Tebow Foundation.

The foundation will be sponsoring its annual Night To Shine prom at locations across northern New Jersey on Feb. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Attendees can ride to the event in a limousine, they will be treated to hair and makeup treatments, they can walk the red carpet, be crowned king or queen, eat, drink and dance the night away, all at no charge to the attendees.

St. George Syro Malabar Catholic Church in Paterson will host their event at the Heights VFW, 513 Veterans Place in Hasbrouck Heights. For more information, go to St. George  and to register, go to: register.

This event requires hundreds of volunteers and your help is greatly needed. Areas include buddies, safety, medical, tear down, food prep, activities, dance floor and greeters.  If you would like to volunteer, please use the links above.

“Night to Shine is more than the limo rides, the red carpets, the fancy dresses, and the shiny shoes,” Tebow said of the event. “It’s special because our guests realize, some for the first time, that they’re worth it. They are told they’re special and that they’re loved. And at the end of the night, when each and every one of them is crowned king or queen of the prom, they go home knowing that God loves them and has a special, unique, and purposeful plan for their life.”
