Wayne First Responders Rescue Dogs Stuck in Storm Drain

WAYNE, NJ – Members of the local fire department responded to a call from a worried resident whose dogs had entered a stormwater drainpipe in Wayne and could not get out on Friday.

The dogs’ owner had been fishing while his dogs played in the water and explored the lake’s edge. They soon discovered the drainpipe and entered but did not come back out.

PATERSON, NJ - Efforts to restore Paterson’s Ivanhoe Mill Wheelhouse and Upper Raceway Park, as well to improve Eastside Park got a boost earlier this month thanks to a combined $325,000 in grant funding awarded by the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
