PATERSON, NJ - Stay at home orders and social distancing measures may be keeping us all apart for the time being, but for Paterson’s Tiny Ballerinas, the show must go on!

Thanks to the help of Los Angeles based dance scholar Wanda Smith, and available technology that has already seen the Inner Faith Performing Arts Center (IPAC) bring yoga to local students virtually, the locally well known, and much loved, performers will continue to take weekly classes.

"One of our Dance Ensemble members was so excited for the class she told her grandmother she was in California this morning for ballet class,” Rahsona Elder, Founder, IPAC, said of the streaming classes that include views of the suburban outskirts of the West Coast city.  "It was 6:30 PT and 9:30 EST so the view for the children in the safety of their home was outstanding."

As for Smith, one of the program's original trainers, Elder said that not only does she have an impressive resume, but that she also “holds the program dear to her heart.”
