PATERSON, NJ- Despite a gloomy outlook earlier in the day Labor Day proved to offer Paterson great weather to provide a perfect ending to a successful Great Falls Festival. With the rain passed and clouds gone thousands turned out to celebrate Paterson throughout the three day event.
“We had a lot of rides, a lot of food, a lot of great people,” Orlando Cruz, District Manager for Downtown Paterson said. “This festival exceeded expectations.”
However, Cruz said, those responsible for organizing the annual event aren’t ready to rest on their laurels just yet. “We look forward to making it bigger and better every year,” Cruz said.
“The Great Falls Festival was about many things,” Mayor Andre Sayegh told TAPinto Paterson listing off food, fun, and music. “Most importantly it was about families.”
“Paterson is on the rise and this weekend showed our city’s families are leading the way.”
