PATERSON, NJ - While members of immigrant communities continue to be on high alert of potential raids by ICE agents one organization is seeking to make sure their members know their rights when it comes to dealing with federal immigration agents.

On Sunday, the Bangladeshi American Women's Development Initiative (BAWDI) will host a workshop on the topic at 379 Totowa Avenue in Paterson. The event, scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m., will be followed by a "chat and chai" event co-hosted by Manavi, the South Asian Women's anti-violence organiztion.

While the workshop is open to anyone interested in attending, and will conlcude by 1:00, the "chat and chai" is intended for South Asian women only.
