PATERSON, NJ - Caregivers, teachers, health care providers, local business leaders, and others who routinely interact with children are encouraged to attend a childhood care and education professional development conference hosted by 4CS of Passaic County on Friday, June 7.

Being held at the Passaic County Community College Public Safety Academy in Wayne, the event will start at 8:00 a.m. and include discussions on topics related to children’s social-emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

The conference, organizers say, “equips attendees with knowledge, the latest research, and resources on how to provide children from birth to adolescence with high quality early childhood care and education.

Held since 1993, the day is also designed to help various organizations work together to advocate for the education of children.

The keynote speaker at the conference will be Erin Ramsey of Living Inspired, LLC. With 25 years experience in the sector, including as director of early childhood education for third largest city in Indiana, Ramsey, also a successful author, is said to be “an inspiration for our community of educators, families, and individuals whose work impacts the lives of children.”

“With their vast knowledge our expert instructors are eager to share and empower attendees on how to work at home, in classrooms, camps, or offices,” Maria Guadalupe, Director of Education and Provider Services, 4CS of Passaic County, concluded.
