PATERSON, NJ - The detection of an “unusual odor” in a classroom at Paterson Public School 10 has led to the relocation of all students in the building to School 18.

In a robocall from Paterson Schools, parents and guardians were assured that all students are safe and that extra security has been sent to School 10 to assist with the safe passage to School 18 where lunch will be provided and instruction will continue.

District officials, the Paterson Fire Department, and Passaic County Health officials are still on the scene in efforts to detect the source of the odor.
