PATERSON, NJ  – Just after releasing a schedule of online meetings with Paterson public high school seniors, Superintendent of Schools Eileen F. Shafer announced a similar initiative to communicate directly with district parents and guardians.

According to a statement these meetings, scheduled for the week of May 18, will provide information about academic concerns for students in pre-kindergarten through the 12th grade including grading, devices and instructional packets, the summer program and the district’s instructional plan.

Information will also be provided about many of the annual student rites of passage in the context of schools being closed due to COVID-19 including graduation ceremonies for kindergarten, eighth grade and high school as well as class trips that had been planned.
