PATERSON, NJ - Several familiar names and two newcomers are among seven candidates seeking election to the Paterson Board of Education.
Voters will have the opportunity to cast ballots for up to three candidates when they go to the polls on November 5.
Incumbents Emanuel Capers and Robinson Rondon are both seeking re-election to new three-year terms while former Board Members Vincent Arrington and Corey Teague are seeking a return to the body.
Former 6th Ward city council candidate Jeyss Abreu is running on a slate with Arrington. Dania Martinez rounds out their team.
Iris Rigo will run alongside Rondon.
