PATERSON, NJ- Paterson health officials have issued a notice to all individuals who attended a funeral on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the Ulu Cami Mosque, 408 Knickerbocker Avenue, Paterson, to contact their local health department as they may have been exposed to a case of COVID-19, coronavirus.

Paterson, Totowa, North Haledon, Prospect Park, and Totowa residents should contact the City of Paterson, Division of Health at (973) 321-1277 and leave a message with their name and phone number and a member of the Paterson Strike Team will be in touch with them. 

The Sunday notice came just hours after city officials sent an alert reminding churches, mosques, and places of worship that any form of gathering was prohibited during this time and that their buildings, including door knobs, handles, and all contact surfaces, must be cleaned and sanitized.
