RUTHERFORD, NJ - Felician University’s online Masters in Nursing program continues to be one of the best available in New Jersey, school officials announced Tuesday in response to a report by U.S. News & World Report that ranked it as second among schools in New Jersey. The program also tied for 113th across the nation.
“It is certainly gratifying to be nationally recognized as it reinforces the excellence of our program,” Dr. Christine Mihal, Dean of Felician’s School of Nursing, said. “All of the credit goes to the Associate Deans and Faculty who work tirelessly to support students in their academic journey and ensure our program offers a high- quality curriculum.”
Students that participate in the online Nursing program have the opportunity to pursue tracks in primary care family nurse practitioner, primary care adult gerontology nurse practitioner, and nursing administration. The programs all combine online courses and clinical practice hours.
The rankings evaluate excellence in distance education based on five categories: engagement, faculty credentials and training, expert opinion, services and technologies, and student excellence.
