PATERSON, NJ - A March 3 prostitution bust that led to three arrests at 401 Main Street did little to slow business, concerned citizens said, leading to another sting on March 13, and an additional four arrests.

According to Paterson Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale, Felipe Fernandez, 44, was originally arrested during the first operation, and charged in connection with his alleged role as the manager of a brothel.

Speziale’s report cotinued that Fernandez continued running the operation where men would enter the 2nd floor apartment of the building "all hours of the day and night" where prostitutes were said to conduct sexual acts in exchange for money.
