HACKENSACK, NJ - A Paterson woman will be back in court later this month to face charges for her alleged theft of more than $100,000 from her Bergen County employer.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, the woman, Stefany Urias, 33, is accused of taking customer payments, checks and money orders, with her employer’s authorization and depositing them into her own account.
Urias was a bookkeeper for the wholesale food distributor, authorities say.
The investigation was launched in August and conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Financial Crimes Unit.
