PATERSON, NJ - An investigation into alleged prostitution at Baby Dolls Go-Go Bar on market Street led to the arrests of nine people, including the owner, two bartenders, one security guard, four dancers, and one customer on Saturday.
In statement Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said that the investigation was launched following reports of illegals illegal narcotics activity and prostitution being conducted within the establishment where the dancers would proposition for sex in exchange for money after they would pay the manager/bartender a fee.
The statement read that upon entering the establishment detectives checked the “lap dance” booth and observed a “dancer” performing oral sex on a patron leading the arrests.
There was also $6,679.00 in total US currency that was recovered as illegal proceeds from prostitution.
Arrested and charged with various crimes were:
Thomas P. Humphrey, 62, Riverdale (owner)
Luciana Humphrey, 45, Riverdale (bartender/wife of owner)
Thomas Baldwin, 38, Hackensack (security guard)
Lamont Moody, 42, New York, NY (customer)
Luz Pastrana, 61, Belleville (bartender)
Rafelina Perez, 34, Bronx, NY (dancer)
Ruth Hernandez, 19, New York, NY (dancer)
Argentina Diaz-Devicioso, 49, Utica, NY (dancer)
Emma Diaz, 52, Bronx, NY (dancer)
