PATERSON, NJ - What Paterson Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale characterized a “relentless prostitution operation” led to two arrests Saturday.
Speziale said that the operation came in response to new complaints about “street walkers” in the area of Van Houten Street, between East 18th Street and Straight Street, that solicit individuals for prostitution, both from passing vehicles and individuals on foot.
Arrested and charged with Prostitution were Charlotte A. Best, 40, of Mount Arlington, and Denise Hernandez, 30.
