PATERSON, N.J. - The Passaic County Prosecutors office along with the Paterson Police Department announced Monday that the two deceased victims found in a burning Audi have been positively identified as Aaron Anderson, age 27, and Antonio Vega Jr., age 25, both of Paterson, New Jersey.
At 2:00 a.m. March 17 police and fire officials arrived to the scene of a burning Audi near the 500 block of East 28th Street in Paterson.
Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flames and upon completion two bodies were observed inside the vehicle with gun shot wounds to their heads. The bodies were burned beyond recognition and an autopsy was conducted.
TMZ reported that the Audi was registered to Kim DePaola but it was primarily driven by her son Chris. Chris was reportedly dropped off at the airport in the car by some friends, who were then supposed to return it to his house. Chris had trouble contacting his friends after traveling to his destination and have not heard from them since, making media outlets speculate they may be the victims.
