Overnight Shooting in Paterson Under Investigation

PATERSON, N.J. - Around 1 a.m. Police responded to a shooting near the 700 block of East 18th Street.

Reports of shots fired sent the police to the location, where a single victim was found. The victim had been shot in the chest, and was immediately taken to St. Joseph's hospital.
