PATERSON, NJ - A number of county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, including the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Department Homeland Security, provided support to the Paterson Police Department for an eight hour stretch Friday night into Saturday morning, according to Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale.

The results, Speziale said, included 26 arrests, the recovery of three handguns, the confiscation of 524 glassines of heroin, and the issuance of more than 1,100 moving violations.

“We appreciate the tremendous support from our federal, state and county counterparts in these efforts,” Speziale said.
