PATERSON, NJ - A former mill at 29 McBride Avenue was once again the scene of a fire as members of the Paterson Fire Department responded to the building shortly before 10:00 a.m. Thursday.

Firefighters last responded to the same location in December.

According to responders the fire started in the rear of the two-story building, and, even with an unstable water tank forcing firefighters to fight the flames from outside, the incident was brought under control in just over an hour. No injuries were reported and firefighters, despite the proximity of nearby structures, contained the flames to just one building.
