PATERSON, NJ - A 33-year-old Paterson man was shot Friday afternoon, according to law enforcement officials.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 32nd Street at approximately 4:33 p.m. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival police located the victim who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. 

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center by Paterson Fire Department EMS for treatment.
