PATERSON, NJ - An investigation has been launched into a Wednesday shooting in which a 20-year old victim sought help inside a local business before being transported by Paterson Fire Department EMS to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, the incident took place at approximately 7:05 p.m. in the area of Clinton and North 6th Street. Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department determined the victim had been struck on the street outside the business where he was located.
