PATERSON, NJ - The arrival of a 27-year-old Paterson resident at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center Monday with a non-fatal gunshot wound sparked an investigation into the shooting.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald the Paterson Police Department was advised of the incident at approximately 9:42 p.m. 

Based on the preliminary investigation it is believed the shooting took place in the area of East 22nd Street.
