PATERSON, NJ - An investigation into a mid-morning shooting that left a 28-year-old man with a non-fatal injury is underway.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald the incident took place at approximately 10:40 a.m. Thursday.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center by Paterson Fire Department EMS for treatment.
