PATERSON, NJ - The battle against COVID-19 by first responders was evident Friday as members of the Paterson Fire Department fought back flames at a Paterson business.

The fire at G.W.G. Millwroks, 73 Chadwick Street, was reported by a passing fire department vehicle at approximately 5:30 p.m. As additional units arrived smoke blanketed the area. Responding firefighters, most wearing masks, made an aggressive attack and the fire knocked down quickly.

While no injuries were reported EMS personnel in full protective gear could be seen on the scene.
