PATERSON, NJ - A 21-year-old Paterson man was shot in the area of Marshal Street on Saturday, law enforcement officials have said. 

According to a statement released by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area on a report of a shooting at approximately 5:39 p.m.

While police located evidence of a crime scene no victim was located. A short time later police were advised that the victim had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for non-fatal gunshot wounds.
