PATERSON, NJ - 28-year-old Paterson man shot Sunday has died, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald.

In a statement law enforcement announced that the shooting occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the area of 271 Summer Street.

Once on scene police discovered the victim  who was transported immediately to St.  Joseph’s University Medical Center by Paterson Fire Department EMS, unresponsive.

The victim died from his wounds and was pronounced deceased at approximately 5:15 a.m. Monday.
