PATERSON, NJ - An investigation is ongoing into an early Saturday shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald the incident took place in the area of Van HOuten Street at approximately 1:18 a.m.
After arriving on the scene on a report of shots fired police officers found evidence of a crime scene bot no victim. A short time later, the report states, police officials were advised that a 23-year-old Paterson man had arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
