PATERSON, NJ - Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ismael Marrero, a suspect in the November 18 shooting of a 23-year-old Paterson man
According to a statement by Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, an investigation into the incident revealed that three men approached the victim to rob him, and in the course of the robbery shot him.
Luis Romero was arrested and charged two days later while a second suspect, identified as a juvenile was arrested November 27. Marrero, the report states, remains at large.
Members of the public are urged not to approach Marrero if they see him, and are asked to contact Detective Ricardo Ferreira at 862-881-2122 to report his whereabouts.
