PATERSON, NJ - A 25-year-old Lyndhurst man was shot in Paterson on Saturday.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Ellison and Prospect Street on a report of a shooting at approximately 7:55 p.m.

Upon arrival police located the injured victim who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center by Paterson Fire Department EMS for treatment.
