PATERSON, NJ- A second shooting, this one in the area of Main and Weiss Street, occurred on Monday.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department responded to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center where a 22-year old Paterson male was seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound at approximately 9:56 p.m.
Based on the initial investigation, the victim was near the intersection of Main and Weiss Street when the shooting took place.
This comes after the report of a shooting in the area of Market and Pennington Street that left a 25-year-old Paterson male wounded earlier in the evening.
