PATERSON, NJ- A 39-year-old Paterson was shot Sunday, law enforcement officials have announced.

According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 12th Avenue on a report of shots fired at approximately 11:30 a.m. 

Upon arrival the police found evidence of a crime scene, but no victim was located. A short time later, the report states, the victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
