PATERSON, NJ - An investigation into a Tuesday shooting in which three men were struck by gunfire is ongoing, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora.

In a report the law enforcement officials described that members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Jefferson Street ona  report of a shooting at approximately 5:42 p.m. Upon arrival, responding officers located three victims,18, 22, and 24 that had sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds. The three victims were transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center by Paterson Fire Department EMS for treatment. 

On Sunday an additional three victims, including two teenagers, were struck by gunfire in the area of Rosa Park Boulevard.
