PATERSON, NJ - Three Paterson men were shot in the area of Market Street and Madison Ave. in the early hours of Friday, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora.

In a statement, the law enforcement officials announced that members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a call of a shooting at approximately 1:00 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene and a 19-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. 

A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department that two additional men, 20 and 24 years old, also arrived at St. Joseph’s Hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.
