PATERSON, NJ - Two men who reported to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds in the early hours of Wednesday are believed to be victims in a shooting that took place in the area of 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald reported that Paterson police officers responded to the area on a call of shots fired at approximately 3:25 a.m.
Upon arrival the police located a potential crime scene, but were unable to locate any victims. A short time later they were advised by hospital officials of the arrival of the two men.
