WAYNE, NJ - The Eastside and JFK High School boys basketball teams traveled to Wayne on Saturday to compete for the Passaic County basketball title.

With hundreds of loyal fans cheering on both sides, the Knights came out victorious for Eastside by a score of 84-54.

Sporting a hoodie with both team's logos Superintendent Eileen Shafer was smiling after the game saying either way it was a "win for Paterson."

Reserving the most credit for the players on both sides that took the court Shafer also praised the coaches for being role models, the cheerleaders for helping to keep the energy level up, and the fans that came out to cheer on both sides.
