SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Commuters using Route 32 and Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike are having a bad day Tuesday.
According to police, a tractor-trailer carrying some 40,000 pounds of syrup jackknifed on Route 32 Tuesday morning blocking two lanes of the roadway.
Middlesex County HAZMAT teams are on the scene dealing with a fuel tank rupture, police said.
Police say the cleanup will take several hours and motorists should avoid the area.
Word is now in from police that a second truck has overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 8a ramp.
