PISCATAWAY, NJ – For the first time since 2012, the Piscataway High School varsity football is going back to the state finals.
With a dominant 42-3 semifinals victory over the third-seeded Old Bridge Knights, who beat Piscataway 24-20 back in October, the No. 2-seeded Chiefs (8-2) will look to get back at top-seeded Manalapan in the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 5 final on Dec. 2.
Manalapan (11-0) bested fourth-seeded South Brunswick in their semifinals matchup on Friday, 34-20, and topped the Chiefs back on Oct. 29, 21-10, at Rutgers.
