Disability Connections: An Information and Resource Fair


EDISON, NJ - The Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services is holding its second annual resources fair for people with disabilities and their caregivers.

“Disability Connections: An Information and Resource Fair” is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. The event will take place at the Edison Senior Center, 2963 Woodbridge Ave. in Edison.

The event will offer information about resources and support services available to persons with disabilities in Middlesex County.

Attendees will have the chance to visit with local social service agencies and businesses and to hear a special presentation from Carole Tonks, Director of the Alliance Center for Independence.

“An event like this is a great way to get the word out about the resources that are available in Middlesex County for those with disabilities,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios. “I hope that many people will attend this event to find out more about the programs and services the Office of Aging and Disabled Services has to offer.”

“I commend the Office of Aging and Disabled Services for organizing this event, and making themselves even more accessible to those who need them,” said Freeholder Blanquita B. Valenti, chair of the Community Services Committee. “I also encourage many residents to attend and to spread the word about the Office’s programming and future events.”
