April at the library means the start of 2 different series plus the launch of a new service! Spring is looking better and better!
Our fitness challenge begins with a Couch to 5K seminar on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30. Whether your goal is to run a race, just run for fun and health, or are already a runner but could use some pointers/reminders, this is a great workshop to attend. Following this program, through the end of June, we will be hosting various mental and physical health programs including yoga, zumba, country line dancing and more. See the flyer for details on our challenge. Register by calling the library that is hosting the specific program.
Thanks to a grant from the Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Kennedy Library is proud to present an "artist-in-residence" series, connecting artists with our community. See the flyer for the first set of art demonstrations. No registration is necessary-just come and enjoy the demonstration anytime between 1-4 on the days of the show.
Also-coming April 1 (no fooling)-Kennedy Library will be offering free museum passes to 3 museums-Grounds for Sculpture, Morris Museum, and Intrepid. Visit http://www.piscatawaylibrary.org/content/museum-pass-program-made-possible-through-generosity-friends-piscataway-library-passes-will for information on who may borrow , for how long, etc. We are excited to be able to provide this service and thank our Friends of the Library for sponsoring it.
