Update: The missing teen has been found, and she is safe.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Franklin Township Police Department is seeking the help of the public to locate Shyyane Coley, 15, according to law officials. 

Coley was reported missing on April 16, according to police reports.

"Shyyane is described as a light skinned, African American female, 5’05” and 190 pounds," Lt. Phillip Rizzo said in a news release. "She was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, navy blue short sleeve shirt, jeans and white converse sneakers."

She has several friends and family members and is known to frequent the New Brunswick and Trenton areas, according to law officials.  

It was reported to police that Coley, left her residence in the Township after an argument with her mother.
