PISCATAWAY, NJ - District children who will be three- or four-years-old by Oct. 1, 2019 can now start their education for free thanks to a grant from the NJ Department of Education Preschool Expansion Aid program, said Piscataway school officials.
The Piscataway Township School district, which offers full-day preschool instruction at two Children’s Corner locations announced an information session where parents can learn more about the free tuition program and how to apply to attend.
The information session will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6 at the Children’s Corner Preschool River Campus, 2300 Cooper Street in Piscataway.
According to the district’s website, Children's Corner Preschool offers a high-quality early childhood education with a variety of activities that teach a sense of responsibility, self-control and self-confidence. All classes are staffed by certified teachers and qualified assistants.
The school has two Piscataway campuses: Children’s Corner by the River, located at the former St. Francis Cabrini School, 2300 Cooper Street, and Children’s Corner by the Pond, located at the former Our Lady of Fatima School, 499 New Market Road.
