Get Your Lawn Chairs Ready: The Piscataway Summer Concert Series Begins July 6

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Piscataway Cultural Arts Commission has announced the dates for the 2017 Summer Concert Series.

The annual concert series will take place at Columbus Park Extension Gazebo located at the intersection of Lakeview Avenue, New Market Road, and Williams Street.

Performances are scheduled for Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m., July 6 to Aug. 31st.

In the event of rain, concerts will be held indoors at the Piscataway Senior Center on Buena Vista Ave. Patrons can call the Weather Hot Line at (732) 562-2389 for updates.

AUGUST 3: TEQUILA ROSE - Bring your dancing boots for an evening of high stepping Country Music old and new.

AUGUST 10: THE JIMMIES 80’S FLASHBACK BAND - The Jimmies will have you rocking to the music of the 80’s. Their name says it all!

AUGUST 17: HUMAN WHEELS - Come rock with us to the music of John Mellencamp brought to us through the courtesy of our friends at BC TIRE AND HANKOOK TIRES!

AUGUST 24: VERDICT - Verdict turns up the heat for a night of music with a Caribbean flavor.

AUGUST 31: THE DIMENSIONS with VALARIE ADAMS - Motown, R & B, Classic Rock, dance and sing along tunes.
